filson releases its affordable "c.c.f." workwear line to compete with the likes of carhartt

When you think of classic American workwear brands Filson and Carhartt are the first names that come to mind. However, up until now, Filson's price point has made their products far from affordable for the everyman. Their signature Oil Tin Cloth and Mackinaw Cruiser jackets were more investment pieces than everyday beaters unless you were, say, a wealthy landowner/cattle rancher in Montana (s/o to Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone series on Paramount)

The aptly named C.C.F line that pays homage to founder Clinton Filson who started his business selling wool jackets during the Klondike Gold Rush 120 years ago. With a price range that runs from $24 acrylic beanies up to $135 for durable canvas bombers; the C.C.F line takes direct aim at Carhartt's Work In Progress (WIP) line by offering affordable, street-ready gear built to the highest standards of quality and durability that Filson is famous for.
